Molly Collett Obituary

Molly Elizabeth (Garrison) Collett, age 42, of Blue Creek, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, October 2, 2023. She was born on Wednesday, January 7, 1981, to mother, Judy (Wilson) Restuccia, of Sydney, Australia and to the late Harold “Eugene” Garrison. Molly attended North Adams High School in Seaman, Ohio and was a 1999 graduate. Despite the obstacles and challenges of being a student while working, she continued her pursuit of an education and career advancement and nearly completed her degree in Medical Coding and Billing. She maintained excellent grades making the Dean's List.  Molly was a Flagger employed by LJ Traffic Control, LLC, of  Batavia, Ohio, and worked to provide a safe work zone for her fellow employees. On a beautiful Sunday afternoon, Molly married her soul mate, Michael Collett on June 13, 2020 surrounded by her loved ones. Her daughters, Zoe and Chloe Hayslip, who she loved with all of her heart, were by her side as she said her vows. Molly was the heart of family gatherings. She loved hosting, making delicious food and having those she loved around her.  When you were with Molly she always put a smile on your face.  Her laugh was infectious and she had a wicked sense of humor.  Molly was a loyal and true friend to everyone she met.  She never met a stranger. Molly was always the one who would lend a helping hand or a shoulder to cry on. Molly put everyone’s needs before her own and made sure everyone she loved was taken care of first. Molly loved adventure.  One of her favorite things to do was to go out in her green utility side-by-side and play in the mud with all of her good friends. Molly will always be remembered as the one who was not afraid to get her hands dirty to help someone out, the one to push others to enjoy life and love unconditionally.

In addition to her husband, Michael and mother Judy, left to cherish Molly’s memory are her children, who she adored; Zoe Hayslip, Chloe Hayslip, Michael (Alexis Baker) Collett and Rebecca (Austin) Walker. She was a proud grandmother to; Mariah, Grayson and Bellamy.
