Adele Carvalho of Markleville, Indiana, the beautiful boxer mix girl of Jessica, Lillian, and Eden Carvalho, crossed over the Rainbow Bridge on Saturday, July 5, 2025. In 2016 Jessica rescued and adopted Adele from a family who sadly no longer wanted this sweet girl in New Castle, Indiana.
Adele quickly fit in and became a happy member of the Carvalho family. Jessica described Adele’s personality as “playful, loving, and territorial.”
Jessica shared that what she loved the most about Adele was, “She was always there to love and show her affection and her hugs.”
Adele was a talker; according to Jessica, her favorite memory of Adele was her expressive “vocal skills.”
Adele definitely did not like bath time; in fact, she hated it. She did, however, enjoy having her fur brushed anytime.
Jessica relayed that Adele's favorite snacks were tomatoes and watermelon.
Adele loved going on car rides with her family. Jessica relayed how she would sit in her seat just like she was a person enjoying the ride.
Jessica shared how Adele used to love to grab their socks and have them chase her to get them back from her.
Adele's favorite place to be was sitting in the rocking chair hanging out with her family; she loved the rocking chair.
Jessica felt what Adele valued the most in her life was her “pack,” her family.
Adele, who went by the nicknames of both “Dalebelle” and “Dale,” loved her family so much. Adele was such a beloved part of the Carvalho family, and so many happy memories were made with their sweet girl for nearly 10 years. Adele will be forever missed, but she will be lovingly remembered and always remain in her family’s hearts.
In addition to Jessica, mourning the loss are human family members, Steven Pence, siblings Lillian, Eden, Jessica, Jamie, Janessa, Faith, Josh, and Kara, and her fur siblings Tess, Tank, Janie, Archer, OJ, and Fergie.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Always & Furever In Our Hearts Pet Cremation in association with Liming Family Funeral Home, located in Shirley, Indiana. We are honored to serve the family of Adele Carvalho.
