Alicia Nicole Olston

Alicia Nicole Olston, age 35, of Greenfield Indiana, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, August 21, 2022 at Hancock Regional Hospital in Greenfield, Indiana. Alicia was born March 29, 1987 in Greenfield, Indiana to parents; Kimberly “Kim” Lingenfelter and Lee R.Olston. Alicia graduated from Eastern Hancock High School in 2005 and went on to get her Associate’s Degree in Accounting at Indiana Business College. She was recently employed in childcare and provided care for children in her own home. Prior to caring for children, Alicia previously worked in an assisted living facility taking care of the elderly, she loved being around the older generation. Alicia also loved her family and she was especially proud of her only grandchild, grandson, Venture Lanter.

Alicia liked listening to Traditional Classic Country music, the good old legends from the past. Alicia enjoyed being outdoors, bonfires and cookouts, especially times she was able to spend gathering with family. She really didn’t like television because she was too busy outside enjoying nature, planting flowers and making the outside more beautiful.

Alicia is preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents. 

In addition to her parents, Alicia is survived by her fiancé, Joseph Smith, three children; daughters, Jaylynn (Gavin Lanter) Bowen, Maleah Golob and son, Jrayklee Olston and by her sweet grandson, Venture. Alicia is also survived by her sister; Stacia Raines, brother, Zachary Olston and stepbrother, Donnie Ray. Also mourning the loss of Alicia are numerous other family members and friends. A graveside service will be held at Park Cemetery in Greenfield, Indiana on Monday, August 29, 2022 at 1pm with Reverend Ronald Polly officiating. A gathering of family and friends will take place immediately following burial at Grace Banquet Hall, located at 1555 E Main Street in Greenfield, Indiana.
