Baby Cat Black, sweet boy of Shanna Adkins and Duane Black passed over the Rainbow Bridge unexpectedly on Wednesday, May 3, 2023. Baby Cat was rescued in 2019 when he was only 6 to 7 weeks old, he was not expected to survive. He was taken to the veterinarian and prescribed medication. With his medication, food and lots of love, Baby Cat thrived and grew into a big, beautiful, sweet orange and white tabby boy. Baby Cat found his forever family and they loved him so much. Although he spent the majority of his time on Shanna’s lap, he went missing for a few days. His family was worried about him but Baby Cat soon returned home with a surprise for his family, a kitten, his son, who the family adopted and named Oliver.
Baby Cat will be missed by his family, Shanna Adkins and Duane Black, along with their children and Baby Cat’s siblings; Dillon Black, Kira Ritchie and Mamaw Marie. He will also be missed by his fur-son, Oliver the kitten and fur sister, Rosebud, the dog. The entire family is very grateful that Baby Cat did not suffer and is not in pain.
Baby Cat Black will always remain in the hearts of his family and they will always remember his sweet face.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Always & Furever In Our Hearts Pet Cremation in association with Liming Family Funeral Home located in Shirley, Indiana. We are honored to serve the family of Baby Cat Black.
