Bella Scott

Bella Scott of Greenfield, Indiana, the sweet girl of Amanda Bolling and Jesse Scott, crossed over the Rainbow Bridge on Wednesday, April 22, 2026. Bella was born in Indianapolis in the early summer of 2012 and adopted by Jesse’s sister and niece in August 2012. 

She became a part of Jesse's family in October 2018. Bella was happy to become part of her new family and adjusted fairly quickly. 

One of the things her family loved the most about her was “her loyalty and wagging tail.”

Jesse described Bella’s personality as “so confident and happy." The family’s favorite memory of Bella was watching her “trotting through the yard with her bouncing ears.”

Bella did not like taking a bath or being groomed. She was more of a homebody and didn’t like going on car rides. She did think it was fun to snatch the family’s socks and then happily greet them with them when they arrived home. 

Jesse shared that what he felt Bella valued most in life was “snack time." Bella, or “Bella Louise” as her family lovingly referred to her by her nickname, enjoyed snacking on her favorite treat, which were chicken strips. She loved play fighting with Jesse when it was time for her treats.

Bella loved everyone, but she was the closest to Jesse and always kept him in her sights. She did, however, sleep at Amanda’s feet. Bella brought so much happiness throughout the years to her family; she will never be forgotten and remain in their hearts forever. 

Bella was greeted on the other side of the Rainbow Bridge by Sasha, her fur sibling who preceded her in death. 

In addition to Amanda and Jesse, Bella will be sadly missed by her human siblings, Heather and Michael O'Connor and Adreannah Floyd. Also mourning her loss is her best friend and fur sibling, Eloise.
