Bradley Elmore Obituary

Bradley Carl Elmore, age 65, of Shirley, Indiana passed away unexpectedly. He was born December 24, 1955 in Dayton, Ohio to his parents, John and Goldie (Copas) Elmore who preceded him in death.

Bradley attended Dayton Public Schools and went on to get his College Degree after finishing school. Bradley made his career choice in life serving his country.  He was an Army Helicopter Pilot and after serving many years transitioned to the National Guard and advanced to the rank of captain. Bradley flew for LifeLine out of Rushville, Indiana, providing advanced transport for the most critically ill. Bradley later worked for Spectrum.

Bradley is survived by his wife Beverly (Fugate) of nearly 25 years, who he married on August 16, 1994.  They were married on the historic “Santa Maria Ship & Museum” which was a museum ship in downtown Columbus, Ohio. The craft was a full-size replica of the Santa María. Sadly, the ship was closed to the public in 2013 and removed from the Scioto River in 2014. Bradley and Beverly spent a lot of time in Southern Ohio. They spent a lot of time in the small town of Hillsboro, Ohio and the surrounding area.  No funeral or memorial service is planned at this time for Bradley.

The staff of Liming Family Funeral Home are honored to provide comfort, assistance and service to Beverly Elmore during the loss of Bradley.
