Brian Lee Eads Sr.

Brian Lee Eads, age 42, of Indianapolis, Indiana, went home to be with the Lord, surrounded by his loved ones, after a brief illness on Friday, May 15, 2026, at Eskanazi Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana. He was born December 23, 1983, in Indianapolis, Indiana, the son of Melissa Eads and the late Brian “Keith” Sawyer. Brian attended Arlington High School. After high school he met the love of his life, Amanda Combs. Brian and Amanda welcomed two children, Arianna and Brian Jr., into their lives. Being a father meant everything to Brian. He was the very best dad. 

Brian was an HVAC technician before becoming permanently disabled. 

Brian was a big sports fan; in his younger years, he played baseball and coached basketball. He was also a huge Indianapolis Pacers fan.

He loved all things fast and exciting. He was an avid amusement park enthusiast and loved riding roller coasters. He enjoyed going to the racetrack. Brian loved watching the television show COPS and enjoyed listening to rap music. 

In December of 2025 Brian accepted the Lord as his savior. On Friday, May 15, 2026, Brian peacefully entered the gates of Heaven at 9:56 pm. 

In addition to his loving companion Amanda, mother Melissa, and children Arianna and Brian Jr., Brian is survived by his sister, Tiffany Decker; nieces Lilly Litel, Karlee, Bailee, and Rylee Decker; and stepfather, Charles Decker. Brian is also survived by his secretary as well as a host of other family members and friends.

In addition to his father, Brian “Keith” Sawyer, Brian is preceded in death by his brother, David “DJ” Decker, and grandmothers Grace Feltner, Shirley Meyers, and Bonnie Sawyer. 

Brian and his big, sweet personality will sadly be missed by everyone who was fortunate enough to have been a part of his life. 

Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 21, from 4pm to 8pm and on Friday, May 22, from 10am to 11:30am, with funeral service to follow at the House of Prayer Tabernacle located at 5501 South Linwood Avenue, Indianapolis, Indiana. Pastor Brad Baker will be officiating the service. Burial will immediately follow at Washington Memorial Park Cemetery, Indianapolis, Indiana.
