Brownie Olston, the beautiful Maltese-Shih Tzu Mix girl of Lee Olston and the late Donna Olston of Greenfield, Indiana, passed over the Rainbow Bridge in the early hours of Monday, October 28, 2024. Brownie was born in July of 2006, alongside her brother Rocky, and Brownie was greeted by her brother Rocky on the other side of the Rainbow Bridge since Rocky passed over just two days prior. Both Brownie and Rocky were fortunate enough to find a loving home with the Olston’s. Both pups were named by Lee and Donna’s granddaughter; Brownie was named after the Little Debbie snack cake, and Rocky was named after the Sylvester Stallone movie character "Rocky." Lee said that he felt that Brownie looked more like a Shih Tzu, and Rocky had more of the Maltese look about him. Brownie and Rocky have been a part of the Olston family for over eighteen years. Both Donna and Lee absolutely loved their fur babies immensely. Lee has been their primary caregiver since Donna’s passing in 2020. Lee relayed that Brownie and Rocky both enjoyed riding in the car and had their designated spots when they traveled. They were his constant companions, and they will both be greatly missed. Brownie was a sweet girl and loved her family, but she was grieving her brother Rocky so much, having been by his side since birth. Brownie is now at peace. Brownie and her dog brother, Rocky, together join their beloved human mama Donna once again after crossing the Rainbow Bridge to be loved for all eternity. The Olston family will miss both Brownie and Rocky, but take comfort knowing that they are both being spoiled once again in heaven.
