Chesty Clarke, age 11 months, of Greenfield, Indiana, the handsome Cane Corso Mastiff of Ryan Clarke, passed over the Rainbow Bridge on Saturday, December 20, 2024.
Chesty was in training as a canine service dog and, after a tragic accident, crossed over the Rainbow Bridge. A testament of love was shown when the neighborhood and law enforcement came together in search of Chesty; sadly, the outcome was not a good one, but Ryan felt such gratitude for the kindness shown by his community.
Chesty was born in Mars Hill, North Carolina, on Saturday, January 20th, 2025, and would have celebrated his first birthday this month. .
Chesty loved his entire family, but his greatest love was for Ryan, with whom he shared a special bond from the time he was a little pup.
Ryan is absolutely heartbroken by the unexpected loss of Chesty.
Chesty touched so many lives during his short time here and left so many memories. He will be forever remembered.
In addition to Ryan, Chesty will be sadly missed by his fur sibling, retired canine officer Apollo Clarke.
