Christopher Michael Ezell

Chistopher "Chris" Michael Ezell, age 38, of Shirley, Indiana went home to be with the Lord after losing his battle with Covid on Saturday, May 29, 2021at IU Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana. He was born December 1, 1982 in Gainesville, Florida, the only child of Laurie (Ezell) Perry and his Step-father, the late Larry Joe Perry, who helped raise Chris from the age of 4. In addition to his Step-father, Chris is preceded in death by first wife, Jeri, and his grandparents.
Chris graduated from Lake Weir High School in Ocala, Florida in 2001. He also attended Ivy Tech Community College. Chris was a big Florida Gators football fan. Chris was employed by Comfort Systems USA as an IT Help Desk Analyst. He was considered a "computer nerd" and loved technology. He was an avid video gamer and enjoyed playing "Call of Duty " Chris also loved spending time watching Twitch. Chris had a sweet, silly and fun personality. Chris was a fan of Star Wars. He enjoyed the authentic tacos at Gil Tacos in Indy, Sonny's BBQ and good old Southern Boiled Peanuts. He was also an avid gun enthusiast and a proud member of the Gun Owner’s Association of America. He was an Amazon shopper and kept them busy by adding to his collection of bibles. Chris accepted the Lord as his Savior on August 26, 1996 and was baptized October 13, 1996. Chris loved the music group Twenty One Pilots and saw them in concert twice. Chris was proud of his beard and liked to be called "Fa-Thor" by his children.
Some years after the loss of his first wife, Chris found love once again and married his surviving spouse, Morgan (Dill) Ezell on June 24, 2017. In addition to his wife, Morgan and mother, Laurie, Chris is also survived by his loving children; daughter, Jazmynn and son, Everett. Chris was a lover of cats and is also survived by his beloved pets; Bootsy, Suzie and Vinny. Chris and his big, sweet, fun personality will sadly be missed by everyone who was fortunate enough to be a part of his life. Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 5th, 2021 from 11am-1pm with Funeral Service to follow at Shirley Wilkinson Community United Methodist Church located at 309 South Street in Shirley, Indiana. The service will be officiated by Ministers Jeff Faull and Kendall Faull. Burial will follow at McCray Cemetery in Wilkinson, Indiana. The staff of Liming Family Funeral Home are honored to serve the Ezell family.
