David "DJ" James Decker, age 27, of Mooresville, Indiana passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday June 2, 2021. He was born on July 16, 1993 in Indianapolis, Indiana. David is preceded in death by his Grandmother, Shirley Meyer, his Aunt, Mary Feltner and Uncle, Freddy Decker. David graduated from Ben Davis High School in 2013. David was a huge sports fan. He was a fan of the Indianapolis Colts and the Indianapolis Pacers. But his favorite sport was teaching his beloved daughters how to play basketball. David was an outstanding husband, father, and son. David was a hero, he was in the Army/National Guard as a soldier, with the rank of E5 Sargeant since 2014 and was proud to serve his country.
David married the love of his life, Lynzee (Smith) Decker on May 12, 2018. In addition to his wife, Lynzee, David is survived by his mother, Melissa Eads and his loving daughters; Karlee, Bailee and Rylee. David is also survived by his sister Tiffany Decker and brothers; Brian Eads and Shawn Rush, neices; Arianna Eads and Ivy Anderson and nephew, Brian Eads, Jr., mother and father in law, Christine and Stanley Smith. David is also survived by many aunts, uncles cousins and family members as well as many friends and Army buddies. David will sadly be missed by all who loved him but he will never be forgotten. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 9th from 4pm-8pm and on Thursday, June 10th from 11am-1pm with Funeral Service to follow at 1pm at the House of Prayer Tabernacle located at 5501 South Linwood Avenue, Indianapolis, Indiana. Pastor Brad Baker will be officiating the service. Burial will immediately follow at
