Diana Marie (Hanson) Ellison

Diana Marie (Hanson) Ellison, daughter of the late Irvin Hanson and Edna (Trueblood) Chadwick was born August 12, 1943 in Madison County, Indiana. She was a 1962 graduate of Cadiz High School. Mrs. Ellison was a homemaker and for a short time worked for Estell Ambulance Service as an EMT and Shirley Foods. She professed her faith in Jesus Christ. 
She was united in holy matrimony to Wayne Lee Ellison October 12, 1962. This marriage was blessed with five children. Wayne Ellison preceded her in death on November 17, 1993.
Mrs. Ellison was a member of the Red Hat Society and enjoyed visiting with friends and family. As a result of her spirit and personality, she was loved by many. She quietly departed this life Monday, September 4, 2017 at The Ellison House care home in Greenfield, Indiana. 
Her life will forever be treasured in the lives of her family and friends. Diana is survived by her children: Clinton (Kerry) Ellison, Indianapolis, IN, Christopher V Ellison, Greenfield, IN, Clifford J Ellison, Indianapolis, IN, Cameron (Angela) Ellison, Markleville, IN, and Tanya (Scott) Brokering of St. Paul, IN; eight grandchildren; Carl, Kyle, Alexis, Wayne Lee, Garrett, Kaci, Ashley and Ike, a brother, Danny (Cindy) Hanson of Middletown, IN ; and two sisters Patricia Dick, of New Castle, IN and Barbra Dalton of Florida.
Services will be held at the Liming Family Funeral Home located at 306 Main Street, Shirley, IN. on Friday September 8, 2017. Visitation: 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Service to begin at 1:00 p.m. with internment to follow at Green Hills Memory Gardens located at 3578 In-38, New Castle, IN.
