Elizabeth Ann (Bever) Dickerson

Elizabeth Ann Dickerson, age 86, was called home by her Lord and Savior on Friday, September 11th, 2020 at 11:45 p.m. She was born July 12th, 1934 to the late Grant and Flora Bever in Greenfield, Indiana. Elizabeth married the love of her life, Robert Dickerson on July 17th, 1953 and resided in Shirley, Indiana. They were blessed with 45 years of marriage until his passing on August 9th, 1998.  She was a devoted member of The Church of God in Knightstown, Indiana for over 40 years and loved her church family.  Elizabeth was an employee at Hancock Regional Hospital for many years until retiring. She enjoyed attending church, having cookouts and most of all, gatherings with her loving family who will miss her dearly. 
Elizabeth Ann is survived by her six children, Steve(Teresa) Dickerson, of Greenfield,Indiana, Donna (Bill) Bertram, of Shirley, Indiana, Denny (Beverly) Dickerson, of Springfield, Ohio,  Donald "Doc"(Jeanie) Dickerson of Knightstown, Indiana, Diana (Jerry) Hammond, of Kennard,  Indiana and Bobby Dickerson of Shirley, Indiana. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; one brother, Gayle Bever, along with nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband she is preceded in death by her brothers, Charles, Lee, Bob, Ed and Leonard; and sisters, Mary and Betty. 
Funeral services will be held at Liming Family Funeral Home located at 306 Main Street, Shirley, Indiana 47384 on Wednesday, September 16th, 2020. Family and friends may call from 11:00 am until the funeral service at 2:00 pm with Pastor Amos Carmichael officiating. Burial will follow at the  McCray Cemetery in Wilkinson, Indiana.
In accordance with Governor Eric Holcomb the Indiana covid-19 guidelines will be followed. Social distancing and masks are encouraged for those attending for their safety.
