Evelyn Meral (Neal) House

Evelyn Meral House, 94 passed away on July 8, 2016. Evelyn was born on February 24, 1922 in Bluff City, Arkansas to the late Samuel and Myrtle Neal. Evelyn is also preceded in death by her husband Jesse Lee House, whom she married on June 7. 1948, and children Mary Foster and Bobby House, and great granddaughter Jordan House. She also had one brother and one sister preceding her in death as well. Evelyn is survived by her children “Johnny” Dwain Wheelington, Lee Hazlett, Leon House, Ann (David) Wilcher, and Marvin (Teresa) House; 3 brothers, one sister,17 grandchildren,33 great grandchildren,16 great-great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Evelyn was an avid fisherman and a master gardener and was happiest in her garden, she will be truly missed. Her funeral service will be at 1pm with viewing from 11 am to 1pm on July 15, 2016 at the Liming Family Funeral Home 306 Main St., Shirley, Indiana. Burial will follow at McCray Cemetery in Wilkinson, Indiana, with Rev. Jim Jackson officiating, The family would like to thank the staff at Kindred Transitional Care and Rehabilitation in Greenfield, Indiana, along with the Hospice staff for all of their loving care for Evelyn.
