Franklin “Frank” Ray Devitt passed away unexpectedly on Monday March 4th, 2019 at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana. He was 61 years old. Frank was born in Greenfield, Indiana on October 25th,1957 to the late John Anthony and Helen (Preston) Devitt. Frank truly loved his family and loved having family get-togethers. Frank was a big fan of NASCAR and WWE wrestling. Frank was a retired carpet installer and after retirement was able to focus more on his hobby of making beautiful, intricate sceneries. Frank was loved by his family and friends and will be truly missed. Frank is preceded in death by his parents; John and Helen, by sisters; Laura Morris and Rosemary Rasnick, by brother John Anthony Devitt, Jr. and stepson Teddy Devitt. Frank is survived by his son Anthony Ray Devitt and Stepson, Jay Day. Also survived by his sisters; Judy (Curtis) Sexton, Barbara Andis (Freddy Miller), and his Aunt Diane Preston Goens. He also leaves behind several nieces and nephews and many friends. Family and friends are invited to gather at the Liming Family Funeral Home, located at 306 Main Street in Shirley, Indiana on Saturday March 9th from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. to share stories, offer condolences to the family and say goodbye to Frank.
