Geneva Jean Dye, 79, passed away on July 22, 2015 at Kindred Transitional Care and Rehabilitation of Greenfield. She was born on January 25, 1936. She was the daughter of James and Margret (Maggie) Gorman. She worked for Western Electric and Indiana Knitwear. She is survived by one brother, Fred Gorman of Spiceland, Indiana and one sister, Phyllis Yost of Titusville, Florida. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Sherman Dye, daughter, Theresa Brickles and son, James (Bubby) Brickles, sisters, Joyce, Irene, Mary, Carolyn and brothers, Arnold and Junior. She was a compassionate, loving and fun woman. She always put the needs of others before her own. She will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved her. A memorial service will be held at the Shirley Church of the Nazarene in Shirley, Indiana on Saturday August 8th at 2:00 pm with Pastor Dan Jones officiating.
