Isabella Marie Cole, the beautiful Shih Tzu girl of Brandy and Doug Cole of New Castle, Indiana, passed over the Rainbow Bridge on Thursday, October 10, 2024. Isabella was born on June 10, 2010 and made her way to a pet store in Muncie, Indiana. The Cole family saw Isabella one day in one of the cramped glass enclosures at a pet store in Muncie in September of 2010. The family decided that this little girl deserved a better life, so they brought her home and made her part of the family. Isabella was so happy in her new surroundings and felt right at home. She loved snuggling blankets and loved putting her face in any nice fuzzy blanket she came across and nuzzling it. Like a lot of girls she was both sweet and sassy. Isabella absolutely adored her family. Her favorite thing in this whole world was when all of her family was gathered around her. She enjoyed riding in the wagon while her family took their walks around the neighborhood; she would just take in the sights, sounds, and smells of everything around her. Isabella enjoyed going on car rides with her family, especially when it included a trip to Starbucks for her favorite treat of a pup cup or to McDonald’s for some French fries. Isabella could get quite sassy when it came to deviating from her routine. She would definitely let you know if you were late getting her dinner to her. She knew what time dinner was, and if it wasn’t ready, she would stand and bark until you took care of your duties. Isabella also knew what time she was supposed to take her medicine. If you were late getting her medication to her, she would give you the eye and stare at you until you would get up and get her medication. She was a girl who insisted on sticking to her schedule, and if you didn’t, you were going to get an earful of sassiness. Isabella was definitely not a fan of bath time either. Shih Tzu means "little lion, and according to the American Kennel Club, the breed is known to be “especially affectionate with children. Their idea of fun is sitting in your lap and acting adorable as you try to watch TV. Isabella was just that; she was an adorable, sweet, loving little girl, mixed with a little sass. She loved each and every one of her family members but would tend to be a shadow to her human sister, Emma. Isabella, also lovingly referred to by her family as “Bill, Bella, Bellarina, Stinka Bella, and Bella Esquella,” is survived by her mom and dad, Doug and Brandy; human siblings Zach (Allison); Emma and Jake; human niece Sophia; human grandparents, Dale and Mary Cole; and Cindy and Jeff Dickey; and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her human grandmother, Dorothy, and her two fur siblings, Lucy and Opie. The entire Cole family is absolutely heartbroken over the loss of their beloved Isabella. She will forever be missed, and her sweet spirit will never be forgotten. Arrangements have been entrusted to Always & Furever In Our Hearts Pet Cremation in association with Liming Family Funeral Home located in Shirley, Indiana. We are honored to serve the family of Isabella Marie Cole.
