Jacobi Michael Cavaletto

Jacobi Michael Cavaletto, age 39, passed away suddenly on Thursday, February 10, 2022 at Ascension St. Vincent Hospital in Carmel, Indiana. Jacobi was born on August 8, 1982 in Indianapolis, Indiana to parents, David and Pamela (Mann) Cavaletto. Jacobi attended Greenfield Central High School and soon after, joined the family business working alongside his father at Dave’s Meat Market in Greenfield. Jacobi enjoyed fishing, collecting cars and attending car shows. He was an animal lover and collected animals as well, from chickens, goats, cows and horses, you name it, he brought it home to the family farm. His family lovingly remembers how Jacobi knew the Bible and would quote biblical scriptures. Jacobi also liked listening to good Classic and Alternative rock music, especially the Grateful Dead and Sublime. His favorite colors were blue and green but he truly loved all colors. Jacobi had bright, beautiful blue eyes and he was proud of beard and the artwork he wore on his body. 

He is preceded in death by his grandparents; Walter and Christine Mann and Ernest and Lena Cavaletto 

In addition to his parents, David and Pamela, Jacobi is survived by his children; Jacobi, Dakota, Carley, Mercedes and David. He is also survived by his brothers; Giuseppe (Alisha) Cavaletto, Mario Cavaletto and sister, Olivia Cavaletto, as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. Jacobi will be sadly missed and remembered always by his family and friends. 

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 16, 2022 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. with funeral service starting at 1:00 p.m. at the Liming Family Funeral Home located at 306 Main Street, Shirley, Indiana. Burial to follow at Glen Cove Cemetery in Knightstown. Pastor Albert Isbell will be officiating the service.
