Jennifer Ann Thompson, age 50, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, November 7th, 2021 at Henry Community Health Hospital in New Castle, Indiana. Jennifer was born December 30th, 1970 in Greenfield, Indiana to mother, Genevee Jane (Maxwell) Davis and father, William Howard Davis. 

Jennifer attended Knightstown High School and was a lifelong area resident.  Jennifer was employed in the Food Service Industry and worked at Carquest Warehouse until becoming permanently disabled. 

Jennifer was a kind soul and would help anyone in need. She had a big heart. She kept it real, what you would see is what you would get with Jennifer. She was a lover of animals as well,  taking in animals whose family were not able to care for them any longer. She enjoyed gardening, crafting and listening to all kinds of music, from Rod Stewart, .38 Special, Nikki Sixx and Mötley Crüe to the Oak Ridge Boys. 

In addition to her parents Jennifer is preceded in death by her first husband, Daniel White, sisters; Ruby Davis, Becky Williams, Wilma Davis, Judy Mast, brothers; Howard Steven “Joe” Davis, David Patric, James Dale Davis and brother-in-law, Larry Benefiel.

Jennifer is survived by her husband,  Richard "Rick" Thompson,  They were married November 22, 2005 and would have celebrated 16 years together this month. Also left to cherish her memory are her children, who loved her dearly; daughter, Madison Thompson, sons; Jacob (Briana) White, Caleb (Mary Bright) White, Tony Ross, Josiah (June) Shults and sisters; Cindy Benefiel, Shelby Clowers, Nancy (Roger) Hamilton, Lora (Larry) Lewman, brothers; Edward (Patricia) Davis, William “Bill” (Bonnie) Davis, Jr., brother-in-law, Jon Williams and sister-in-law, Lisa Davis. Jennifer is also survived by her grandchildren who she thoroughly enjoyed spoiling rotten, Chloe and Emily White and Raidyn, Syelis and Luanna Shults. Jennifer is also survived by many other family members and friends. Services will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, November 11, 2021 at the Liming Family Funeral Home in Shirley, Indiana,. Friends may call at the Liming Family Funeral from 1p.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday for visitation.  Inurnment will be at Glenn Clove Cemetery at a later date. The family is gathering at 3 p.m. at The Fellowship Hall  for a time of sharing a meal and memories of Jennifer.
