Joseph “Joe” William Smith, II

Joseph “Joe” William Smith, II, age 31 of Greenfield Indiana, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, September 3, 2022 at his residence in Greenfield, Indiana.  Joe was born February 26, 1991 in Indianapolis, Indiana to parents; Melinda Louise (Cope) Nichols and Joseph William Smith, Sr. 
Joe attended Eastern Hancock High School and graduated in 2010. He was employed as a Concrete Laborer with Kramer Custom Concrete in Carthage, Indiana and on his job Joe did a little of everything, specializing in interior and exterior custom concrete, sidewalks, patios, driveways, pools, decks and demo jobs, he did whatever needed to be done. 
Joe liked listening to Rap Music and was an admirer of cars, from driving them, sometimes fast, to racing them in the newest video game. Joe joins his fiancé Alicia Nicole Olston, who passed away on August 21, 2022. Joe is also preceded in death by his maternal grandparents; Elizabeth and Warren Cope and paternal grandparents; Ruthann and William Smith. In addition to his parents, Joe is survived his stepfather, Chuck Nichols, by his sisters; Lindsey Leistner, Danyell Cope and brother, Dylan (Hannah Burch) Jack, by three children; daughters, Jaylynn (Gavin Lanter) Bowen, Maleah Golob and son, Jrayklee Olston and by grandson, Venture. Joe is also survived by his beloved dog, Bowser. Joe was an incredibly loving father and he will be deeply missed by his children, family and friends. 
A graveside service will be held at Park Cemetery in Greenfield, Indiana on Tuesday September 13, 2022 at 1pm with Pastor Jim Hage officiating.
