Justice Novac

Justice Novac, of New Palestine, Indiana, the 18-year-old beautiful Maine Coon boy of Mike and Denise Novac, crossed over the Rainbow Bridge on Friday, June 27, 2025. Justice was born in Indianapolis in 2007 and adopted by Mike and Denise. What they loved most about Justice was that he was “very gentle and loving.”

 Unlike most cats who shy away from visitors, Justice was a very social boy and welcoming. He would greet anyone who visited the Novac home and would sit with them. Mike described Justice’s personality as “gentle and very kind to everyone.”

His family felt what he enjoyed the most in life was lying in the sun and going out to the patio. 

Justice enjoyed being a homebody and did not like car rides at all. He did enjoy having his beautiful fur groomed, and he was a lover of catnip. His favorite toy to play with was his tethered bird to chase.

Justice was an affectionate and loving boy; he was a snuggler. Denise was his person. Mike shared how he liked sleeping with Denise, and sometimes she didn’t realize he was there, and she would almost roll on top of him, which would cause him to loudly squawk at her.

Justice, who his family affectionately referred to as “J-bird,” was absolutely the sweetest boy and will be forever remembered. In addition to Mike and Denise, mourning the loss of Justice are his fur siblings, his little brother Mo and Aussie sister, Annie. Justice was met on the other side of the Rainbow Bridge by his Aussie sister, Maggie, who preceded him in death. 

Arrangements have been entrusted to Always & Furever in Our Hearts Pet Cremation in association with Liming Family Funeral Home, located in Shirley, Indiana. We are honored to serve the family of Justice Novac.
