Leo McFalls Obituary

Leo McFalls, the handsome 10-month-old tuxedo boy of Tammy McFalls from New Castle, Indiana, passed over the Rainbow Bridge on Wednesday, January 25, 2026. Leo was born on Thursday, March 27, 2025, and was just shy of turning a year old. Leo had a rough start early in his life; he was born in a garage in New Castle, Indiana. Tammy found a post on Facebook where a woman was trying to find a home for three kittens. Tammy chose the adorable black and white cutie. Tammy shared, “At first I thought he was a girl, and I named him Elsie.” After finding out that “she” was actually a “he,” Tammy chose to name this handsome boy Leo.  According to Cats.com, “Although feline personality traits are not scientifically correlated to coat color, some tuxedo cat owners anecdotally say their tuxies are friendly with an easy-going temperament. They have also been described as playful, talkative, loyal, and dog-like. Most tuxedo cats are not aggressive and tend to get along well with other household cats, especially when raised together.

Tammy, who often referred to Leo by his nickname of “Lee-Lee,” loved that Leo had “the cutest perfect black circle on his chin.”

Tammy relayed her favorite memories of her time with Leo: “At first he was really afraid of everyone, but after 2-3 weeks he started to be friendly with me and slowly with my sons and others. He turned out to be really lovable and cuddly. He loved to be on my lap, making biscuits and purring loudly. ”.

Tammy shared, “He also loved playing with his brother Lynx and sleeping in boxes. He had this toy that I held and dangled in front of him with feathers that he would sometimes bring to and drop at my feet when he wanted to play.”

Leo's favorite place to be was beside Tammy and his brother Lynx, whom he adored. Tammy is absolutely heartbroken by the loss of her handsome boy Leo, and she will never forget him. Tammy shared, “I didn’t have him long, but he left many good memories with me.”

In addition to Tammy, mourning the loss of Leo are her human brothers, Tom and Tim; his uncle, Colten; his cat sister, Missy; and his cat brother, Lynx.
