Leo Spears of Indianapolis, Indiana, a sweet boy of Brittani and Shawn Spears, crossed over the Rainbow Bridge on Wednesday, October 16, 2024. Leo was born on a warm summer day on July 23, 2013 at Brittani’s previous home on Laurel Street. Leo has been a part of Brittani’s life since he was a newborn kitten, and he has followed her every day since. Leo was Brittani’s shadow. He was so loving, such a cool, chill cat. You would often find him playing with some yarn or a ball of string. Leo would walk around the house with his ball in his mouth, meowing happily. Leo was a little lover boy, and although he loved everyone, he spent as much time as he could next to his favorite person in the world, Brittani. He was her sweet boy.
Leo enjoyed his catnip, and being the laidback cat that he was, he liked any and all kinds of treats. Leo loved to be groomed and liked to just take it easy, be a lazy boy, and relax with his family.
Leo absolutely did not like going on car rides; it was definitely not his thing. He enjoyed hanging out and living life with his family, especially his favorite person on earth, Brittani. Leo, also lovingly known as “Bubby Biggie Boy and Fat Cat,” was a beautiful, sweet old boy, and his family will never forget him. His family described Leo as “the best cat ever” and that “every day with him was a blessing,” saying that they will cherish all the memories they have of Leo.
In addition to Brittani and Shawn, who Leo loved so very much, mourning the loss of Leo, are his human sister, Lillee Spears, human grandmothers, Sue Williams and Marjie Spears and cat sisters, Athena and Marlee Spears.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Always & Furever In Our Hearts Pet Cremation in association with Liming Family Funeral Home, located in Shirley, Indiana. We are honored to serve the family of Leo Spears.
