Liam Appleton Obituary

Liam Appleton, the sweet year-and-a-half-old boy of Stephanie and Eric Appleton of Greenfield, Indiana, unexpectedly passed over the Rainbow Bridge on Wednesday, May 13, 2026.
Liam joined the family on Monday, March 25, 2024, after he was adopted from Biscuit Factory Animal Rescue.
Stephanie described Liam’s personality as “shy and timid with our dogs and new people, but he loved his people and his cat brother Watson.”
Like most cats, Liam did not care for getting a bath, but he loved to have his fur brushed. He also was not a fan of going for car rides; he was scared of the car.
What Stephanie loved the most about Liam was how he loved to be near me when I worked. He would always lay on my desk.”
Stephanie recalled her favorite memory of Liam was "when he got outside and we looked and looked for him, and then one night he just showed up at my window like he’d never been gone."
Stephanie shared, “Liam had an overbite, which made him open his mouth really odd when he would eat, and it always made us giggle.”
What Liam valued the most in life was his human sibling, his boy, Brekken.
He enjoyed playing with any toy that made a "crinkling" sound, and his favorite treats were anything that was “chicken flavored."
Liam loved everyone, but he had a unique bond with his human sibling, Brekken. They had a special love for one another. Brekken was his person.
Liam, who was also lovingly referred to by the nicknames of "Liam Anthony," “Overbite," and “Kitty Boy," was loved so very much. Although he was only here a short time on earth, his spirit will remain forever in his family’s hearts.
In addition to his human parents, Stephanie and Eric, mourning the loss of Liam, are his human siblings Paxton, Brekken, and Jr.; cat sibling Watson; and dog siblings Oscar, Mia, and Erica.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Always & Furever In Our Hearts Pet Cremation in association with Liming Family Funeral Home, located in Shirley, Indiana. We are honored to serve the family of Liam Appleton.
