Little Bit Willoughby, age 15, of Sullivan, Indiana, the handsome Shih Tzu of Anne Willoughby, passed over the Rainbow Bridge on Wednesday, February 18, 2026.
Little Bit was born on Friday, July 30, 2010, in Bucktown, Indiana, and was given to Keith and Anne Willoughby from their son Denny.
Since the day he joined the family, he has brought so much joy and happiness to the home with his loving personality. His family described his personality as “gentle and sweet."
When asked what his family loved the most about him, they responded, “Everything—he was a sweet puppy." They relayed that what Little Bit valued most during his time here on Earth was "his human dad and mommy."
Little Bit loved going on car rides with his family. They shared, “Dad always said the Avalanche was Little Bit's truck. He loved to ride in it and go "Bye-bye," his family jokingly shared while Little Bit was going to Denny's house. “Denny would tell him to stop barking.” Dad would say, “Leave Little Bit alone—it's his truck," continuing, “Little Bit loved to ride in the truck with Gloria and Mom to Walmart. Gloria would watch him while Mom went in to shop. Gloria would let him bark at everyone.”
His family shared their favorite memory of Little Bit: “Sitting on Keith's lap on the back porch in the swing and going on truck rides.” Additionally, according to his family, what Little Bit liked regarding being groomed and bathed was, “When he was done, then he liked it."
Little Bit had one particular toy he liked to play with; it was his “Red Dog," named “Puppy." He wasn’t a picky boy; he just loved treats.
Little Bit, who his family also lovingly referred to by the nickname of "Little Squirt," was a sweet soul and deeply cared for his entire family, but he had a special bond with his human dad, Keith and mom Anne. The entire Willoughby family are absolutely heartbroken by the loss of their sweet boy, Little Bit, who touched so many lives and left so many memories during his 15 years as a member of the family. He will be forever remembered.
