Loki Conry, age 10, a handsome Alaskan Malamute boy of Ka'Bryia and Collin Conry of Muncie, Indiana, passed over the Rainbow Bridge unexpectedly on Monday, February 17, 2025. Loki became a part of the Conry family on February 13, 2015. According to his family, from the very beginning, Loki was a “chill, laid-back boy.” Although he was laid-back, he was very protective of his family and made it his job to make sure everyone was safe. In an article written by Amy Flowers, DVM/WebMD “The Alaskan Malamute is an affectionate and loyal dog who looks serious but is, in fact, playful. They are good family pets for people who love huge and powerful breeds. They are friendly and extremely devoted.” Loki absolutely fit the description of his breed. He was their loyal companion. He was very protective of his family and made it his job to make sure everyone was safe. Loki loved going on car rides with his family and would be sad if he didn’t get to go. He enjoyed going anywhere, as long as he was with his family. Loki was easygoing and didn’t have any particular favorite toy to play with; he would happily play with anything. When it came to food, Loki wasn’t a picky eater; he enjoyed anything “meaty,” especially the meaty-type treats.
Ka'Bryia shared some of her favorite memories of Loki: “I loved that he would follow me everywhere I went and stand guard, keeping an eye out” and of him “talking back to me or howling.”
Loki loved both Ka'Bryia and Collin immensely. They loved their sweet boy beyond measure. He will be forever missed, but his sweet memory will remain in their hearts. In addition to Ka'Bryia and Collin also mourning the loss of Loki are his human siblings and fur siblings.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Always & Furever In Our Hearts Pet Cremation in association with Liming Family Funeral Home, located in Shirley, Indiana. We are honored to serve the family of Loki Conry.
