Loki Nelson Obituary

Loki Nelson, of Muncie, Indiana, beautiful Black and White fur baby approximately aged 13  of Allyson Nelson, passed over the Rainbow Bridge on Saturday, September 21, 2024. Loki’s start in life was not a good one. Loki was just a little stay kitten when he was tossed out of a car window back in November of 2011 in Yorktown, Indiana. Fortunately Loki crossed paths with someone who had the complete opposite nature of that person. Allyson rescued Loki and gave him a safe, loving home. Loki did not let his rough start in life change his sweet nature or slow him down. Loki didn’t miss a beat and regained his confidence in being a playful kitten again with Allyson’s help. Loki was a playful and loving boy with those he felt comfortable around. Loki was sneaky and mischievous, always watching and waiting for the opportunity to snatch an unattended or dropped scrap of food while Allyson was cooking.  Loki would also keep his eyes on the back door so he could dart outside for a forbidden quick roll in the grass. When Allyson would return home from work she would often find Loki curled up warm and cozy napping under the comforter awaiting her return. Loki, who was also known to his family as “Old man, Stinky, Bean, and Loki Bean” had such a calm and gentle spirit but Loki was also incredibly playful. Loki loved running from different areas and places of the furniture trying to attack whoever ventured near him.. His favorite toy was a rubber mouse that Allyson got from a Halloween party she attended years ago as a child. He would play fetch with it. Loki loved bird watching and playing with his cat-brother, Mochi, who was adopted in 2019. Loki’s favorite things while he was on this earth were taking nice long naps, nibbling on Shredded cheese and Churu treats and his beloved Allyson who rescued him so many years ago and gave him unconditional love and his forever home. Allyson is absolutely heartbroken by the loss of her gentle, sweet boy.  In addition to Allyson, Loki will lovingly be remembered by his younger cat-brother, Mochi, by his dog companion “Tiger” the Dachshund and his friend, “Hope” the dog. Loki loved them all so much. He loved to play with them, groom them, and cuddle up with them. Arrangements have been entrusted to Always & Furever in Our Hearts Pet Cremation in association with Liming Family Funeral Home, located in Shirley, Indiana. We are honored to serve the family of Loki Nelson.
