Loki Pratt Obituary

Loki Pratt, of Muncie, Indiana, the sweet orange tabby fur baby of Nakkita Pratt and Jeremiah Lam, unexpectedly passed over the Rainbow Bridge on Saturday, July 26, 2025.

A friend of Nakkita’s had a mama cat who gave birth to a litter of kittens on Saturday, May 11, 2024. Nakkita decided to adopt sweet Loki, and on Monday, June 10, 2024, Loki found his forever home with Nakkita and Jeremiah.

Nakkita described Loki’s personality as “very playful and goofy”; he always loved to play, “whether it was with a ball or a feather or even his favorite catnip toy.”

Nakkita shared her favorite memory of Loki: when he arrived at his new home, he met his cat sibling, a handsome tuxedo boy named Moe. Loki got acquainted right away by lying on top of Moe. They were not only siblings but also became best buddies.

Nakkita shared what they loved about Loki was “his goofy and playful spirit." Nakkita also recalled how he gave the best “nose kisses,” when he would rub his nose onto theirs."

What Nakkita felt that Loki valued the most in life was his “family and snuggles,” continuing, “He was such a big cuddler.”

Loki loved treats, and he loved to snack on his mom's and dad's pancakes. They were his favorite.

Loki, who was also known to his family by the nicknames of “Nugget” and Chunk” and Loki-47, because Nakkita jokingly relayed, ”He loved when Dad held him like a gun.”

Nakkita relayed, “Loki was not a fan of bath time; it took both of us to bathe him. One to hold him and the other to clean him, but he never hurt us.

Loki also was not a fan of car rides and would meow the whole time until they got to their destination.

Nakkita shared that Loki was very playful and would play with just about anything, but his overall favorite was his catnip toy bear.

Loki loved his human mama and dad so very much. Loki would always make sure he was snuggled up right between them as much as possible. Nakkita relayed when Loki was a little kitten, “He would sit on top of his dad’s foot and watch TV with him,” continuing, “He wasn’t a typical crazy orange cat; he was a perfect baby!”

Nakkita and Jeremiah are absolutely heartbroken by the sudden loss of their sweet boy.

In addition to Nakkita and Jeremiah, Loki will lovingly be remembered by his fur siblings: Moe the Tuxedo boy, Kora the Grey Tabby girl, Athena the Calico girl, Salem the Tortoiseshell girl, and Bosten the Labradoodle boy. Loki is also survived by a litter of six kittens he fathered; three are still living at his family’s residence, and three have found their forever homes.
