Maggie Jo Archer, of Losantville, Indiana, the beloved boxer pit bull mixed girl of Terri Archer, passed over the rainbow bridge on Wednesday, March 25, 2026.
Maggie Jo found her forever home with the Archer family on Sunday, March 21, 2021, when she was adopted from the Whitley County Humane Society in Columbia, Indiana. Sadly, her previous owner passed away, and she was in need of a home. Terri came to her rescue and shared that she was a great fit from the very first day she joined the family.
She brought so much joy and happiness to the home with her loving personality. Terri shared, “She had a funny disposition. She was stubborn and set in her ways. She loved her brother Sheldon, and she always loved our daily walks down through the woods or Stoney Creek."
Maggie Jo was a good girl and enjoyed baths and being brushed out after being bathed.
Terri relayed that Maggie Jo "always gave her sister the evil eye when she snuggled up to her, but after she gave me the look, she let her sleep with her.”
Terri recalled that the one thing she loved most about Maggie Jo was her “tummy.”
Terri lovingly shared, “She was the best girl. She enjoyed life and loved her family. She was loved so much by her family.”
The entire Archer family are absolutely heartbroken by the loss of their sweet girl, Maggie Jo.
In addition to Terri mourning her loss are her fur siblings, brother Sheldon and sister Pickles.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Always & Furever In Our Hearts Pet Cremation in association with Liming Family Funeral Home, located in Shirley, Indiana.
