Marsha Ann (Lambert) McKinley

Marsha Ann McKinley, age 75, passed away peacefully after her courageous battle with cancer on Friday, January 28th, 2022 at home in Anderson, Indiana surrounded by her loving family. A lifelong Hoosier, she was born March 21,1946 in Indianapolis, Indiana to parents; Charles and Betty (Bradley) Lambert. Marsha attended Pendleton High School and was a 1964 graduate.  Marsha met and married her sweetheart, Fred McKinley in 1975 and they were married for 33 years until Fred’s passing in 2008. Marsha was a homemaker and dedicated her life caring for her family. It was her joy in life. Those blessed to have known Marsha knew her as a strong, courageous woman with a kind and gentle soul. She loved being with her animals, good country music, watching movies, playing games and sitting on her front porch. She enjoyed having family functions and get- togethers, just spending time with her loved ones. Her family lovingly recalls her gathering all of the family on the front porch of the farm house, Summer get-togethers and holidays. Sunday dinners were a focal point and she was always at the heart of it all. She was loved by all who knew her and had such an impact on all of those who came into contact with her. Marsha was an amazing, loving and caring mom and grandmother. She was loved by so many people and she will be missed immensely.

Left to cherish Marsha’s memory are her four children; Daughter, Robin (Steve) Armstrong, Son, Bobby (Stacey Siebert-Justus) Eastes, Son, Brad (Ketra) Eastes and Daughter, Faith (John) Terry, Grandchildren: Seslie (Annya) Smith, Peyton Armstrong, Taylor (Josh Kirby) Eastes, Josh Eastes, Heather Terry, Connor (Caroline) Terry, Jamie (Ivan) Terry and Emily Eads, Great Grandchildren: Lilly, Ben, Alex, Tom, Livi, Lennox, Cody, Elison and Emilia. Marsha is also survived by her Brother: Phil (Judy) Lambert, Nieces: Denisa (Susan Ellington) Lambert, Lauryn, Katie, Aryn, Alissa, Mckenna, and Nephew, Jonzi. In addition to her husband, Fred, Marsha is preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Betty Lambert and by her Step-Father, Mike Lemon. Funeral services will be held at the Liming Family Funeral Home located at 306 Main Street, Shirley, Indiana 47384 on Monday, February 7, 2022. Family and friends may call from 11:00 am until the funeral service at 1:00 pm. Pastor Laura Walls will be officiating the service. Burial will follow at the Park Cemetery located at: 621 S State Street, Greenfield, Indiana 46140. One of Marsha’s final wishes was a request that for those who attend her funeral to remember her to come as they are, no fuss, nothing fancy, just dress casual and be comfortable as you comfort each other.
