Michael Dean Clark

Michael Dean Clark, age 66, of Shirley, Indiana passed away on Thursday, April 15, 2021 at the home of his son, Michael. He was born June 13, 1954 in Elwood, Indiana to Verlin E. Clark and Alberta L. (Foor) Clark. In addition to his parents, Michael is preceded in death by his sisters; Donna Carpenter, Eva Jane Wessell and Loretta Price, and brothers; Ron Frazier, Bud Hemphill and Verlin "Buck" Clark. He is also preceded in death by his nephew, Randy Lee Weaver. Michael attended Elwood Community School. Michael was employed in construction working as a Cement Mason until an accident caused him to become permanently disabled. Michael loved spending time watching a good western or war movie. Michael was also a NASCAR fan and enjoyed camping with his family. If you knew Michael, you know you would always see him with his favorite drink in his hand, a Diet Coke. Michael is survived by his wife of 32 years, Amy, who he loved "giving hell". Michael is also survived by daughters; Angie (Mark) Laughlin and Deana (Danny) Buttler and sons; Michael M. (Miranda) Clark and Cody (Keely "Pineapple" Marcum) Clark, brother, Charles "Chuck" (Linda) Frazier. Michael is also survived by grandchildren; Walker and Houston Clark, Kourtney (Kenny) Krabbe, Konnor Kleinbub, Matthew (Shawnacey Carmine) Buttler, Taylor Laughlin and Hannah Laughlin and great-grandchildren; Dehlila, Kayleigh, Ella, Ethan and Matthew, many nieces and nephews; including a special niece, Grace Carl. Michael will be sadly missed by all of his friends and family who loved him dearly. Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 22nd, 2021 from 5pm-7pm with Funeral Service to follow at Liming Family Funeral Home located at 306 Main Street in Shirley, Indiana. Pastor Richard Hutson will be officiating the service.
