Muffin King

Muffin King, the beloved baby boy ferret of Adalyn King and the King Family of Shirley, Indiana, unexpectedly crossed over the Rainbow Bridge on Thursday, February 27, 2025, after a sudden, unexpected illness. Adalyn adopted little Muffin from Petco in 2024. Muffin was a social boy who liked people and was always ready for a friendly greeting. Adalyn loved that Muffin was always nice to her and wanted to play. Muffin also liked playing with his favorite toy, which was his Ferret Mylar Crinkle Balls. He really wasn’t interested in any kind of treats, but he loved his food. Muffin's only car trip was after he was adopted; he was scared and did not like riding in the car. Adalyn relayed that Muffin did not like any type of grooming or bathing, but he did like to run around in the bathtub. Adalyn shared her favorite memories of Muffin were playing with him and holding and cuddling with her sweet boy. Muffin, who was also nicknamed” Muffin Man”, was a funny, lovable boy. What Muffin loved the most in his life was Adalyn. He couldn’t wait for her to come home from school to cuddle and play with her. Adalyn described Muffin’s personality as “silly, funny, and nice.” Even though Muffin’s time with Adalyn and her family was short, he was loved so very much. He will be deeply missed by the entire King family, who will cherish the memories of his happy, funny, furry life. In addition to his human mom Adalyn, Muffin will be sadly missed by his human Grandma and Grandpa King and Ruby, Liam, and Eleanor King.
