Nirah Jackson

Nirah Jackson of Muncie, Indiana, a nine-year-old beloved Pit Bull Mix of Chelsi and Paul Jackson, passed over the Rainbow Bridge on Wednesday, July 3, 2024, unexpectedly. Nirah was born in Mooreland, Indiana, in 2015 and became a part of the Jackson family. Nirah enjoyed riding in the car with her family. Nirah liked to run whenever she could. She was absolutely not a fan of taking a bath or getting her nails trimmed. Nirah loved being loved on; if you were petting her, she would sit on top of your feet as you were petting her. As Paul would get ready for work in the morning, Nirah would grab at his hands when he was tying his boots and try to get him to pet her. Nirah would lick at you if you blew in her face. She loved to snuggle. Nirah would lay on the people she loved for hours if she could. Nirah was a big, beautiful, smart girl, and she was also the sweetest baby.

In addition to Chelsi and Paul, she will be lovingly remembered by her human brother, 8-year-old Phenex, who also lost a best friend and will miss her terribly, and by his human sister, Maya, who, at 2 years old, called Nirah "Noodle."  Nirah will also be mourned by her sister and littermate, Lafwanda (Fwand). They have been inseparable since birth and were very close. Nirah will be sadly missed, but she will always be remembered and remain in the hearts of her family, who loved her immensely.
