Odin Farmer, the 8-year-old Doberman Pinscher boy of Joni and Brian Farmer, of New Castle, Indiana, crossed over the Rainbow Bridge on Friday, January 30, 2026.
Odin’s family shared, “For the past 8 years, our home was filled with laughter, chaos, and unconditional love thanks to our beloved Doberman. Looking the part of a majestic protector but who was just a big goofball, Odin had a special gift for keeping us entertained. His hilarious attempts at being a "stealthy" shadow, or the unmistakable Doberman lean that felt like a bulldozer…yet he was afraid of his own flatulence. A dog who believed personal space was optional, naps were a competitive sport, and every day was better if it included his people. Odin didn’t just live with us; he belonged to the Farmer family, heart and soul.
Though our hearts ache in his absence, we are grateful for the years of joy, comical poses, and laughter he gave our family. The house feels quieter now, but the memories are loud and full of love.
Run free, sweet goof. You were deeply loved, and you will be forever missed.
In addition to Joni and Brian, Odin will be missed immensely by his human siblings, Jeremiah, Audree, Kimberlee, Nathaniel, and Natalie.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Always & Furever in Our Hearts Pet Cremation in association with Liming Family Funeral Home, located in Shirley, Indiana. We are honored to serve the family of Odin Farmer.
