Orrbit Orr, crossed over the Rainbow Bridge on Saturday, July 15, 2023 at 11:28 p.m. with his loving owner, Brian Orr by his side. Brian adopted Orrbit as a puppy, a sweet little Jack Russell Terrier in August of 2007. He was born on June 15, 2007 in Hartford City, Indiana to his mama, named Chocolate Cocoa and daddy, named Black Eyed Jack. This August Brian and Orrbit would have celebrated 16 years together. Orrbit loved when Brian came home from work. Orrbit would be a ball of energy and get the “zoomies” with excitement and happiness. He would want Brian to chase him all over the house. Orrbit was a good watch dog and made sure he would alert everyone when the mail carrier was in the neighborhood. One of Orrbit’s favorite pastimes was chasing squirrels, no other animals. He would keep his watchful eyes on birds, rabbits and other animals but it was the squirrels that really got his attention. He never caught or hurt them in any way but truly loved the chase. Recently, Orrbit’s appetite started to decline along with his health. He enjoyed the chicken and steak that Brian would prepare for him in an attempt to get him to eat. Previously, he would eat his food and his cat siblings food as well.
Orrbit was the last of Brian’s pets to cross over Rainbow Bridge and he joins his three cat siblings who preceded him in death, Samantha, Edd and Blackie.
Orrbit is survived by his human dad, Brian. . Orrbit was a loyal, loving companion and more than just a dog, he was family. He will be greatly missed.
