Puddin Wickliff

Puddin Wickliff of Rushville, Indiana, the 13-year-old beautiful black and white tuxedo fur baby of Taylor and Dylan Wickliff, passed over the Rainbow Bridge on Saturday, November 16, 2024. 

Puddin was a stray cat, and luckily on Friday, September 10, 2021, he finally found a place to call his own. The Wickliff family gave him a safe, loving home, and Puddin gave them unconditional love. 

When Puddin first arrived at his new home with the Wickliff family, he had quite the adventure. The family shared; while exploring his new surroundings, he went into the bathroom and got stuck beside the vanity and the built-in shelves. Dylan was unable to reach him to get him out of the narrow space, so Taylor had to rescue Puddin in order to get him out. Puddin never attempted that adventure again. Puddin was not a fan of traveling or bath time; in fact, he hated it. He did not care for large crowds of people but loved his immediate family. Puddin was a very vocal boy and wasn’t afraid to speak his mind. 

Puddin, who his family lovingly referred to as “Old Man," “Dapper Gentleman," “The Boy,” and our "Son,” was a very relaxed, easygoing, loving boy. He enjoyed wet foods and the licker treats. He loved cuddles, lots of pets, and attention. Puddin liked to cuddle up in Taylor’s heating blanket, but above all, he loved cuddling up with Taylor. He adored Taylor; she was his person. Puddin would follow Taylor throughout the house. Puddin would sit patiently by the bathroom door while Taylor showered until he could be by her side again. He would let Taylor cuddle and hold him like a “stuffed animal." Puddin also worked his magic and warmed the heart of Dylan, who previously wasn’t a feline fan. In addition to Taylor and Dylan, Puddin will lovingly be remembered by his human sibling, Fraya, and his younger cat brother, Dodger. 

Arrangements have been entrusted to Always & Furever in Our Hearts Pet Cremation in association with Liming Family Funeral Home, located in Shirley, Indiana. We are honored to serve the family of Puddin Wickliff.
