Puppet Marie Spaulding, a beautiful tabby girl of Barbara Spaulding of Greensboro, Indiana, crossed over the Rainbow Bridge on Friday, May 1, 2026.
Puppet was born in her family’s residence in Greensboro on Thursday, April 9, 2020. She was a lucky cat who became a Spaulding and always had a home from the time she was born.
Barbara described Puppet’s personality as "very sweet and caring. She would always look at me with the sweetest look."
Barbara recalled that Puppet had quite the cat-titude at times. “She always acted like she was 10 feet tall even though she was the smallest cat.”
Barbara shared what she loved most about Puppet: “She would extend her paw and tilt her head, asking for pets."
Barbara recalled her favorite memory of her time with Puppet when she was worried about her cat niece: “When Zoey was sick, she never left Zoey’s side. She stayed with her for 2 weeks straight.”
Like most cats, Puppet wasn’t a fan of getting a bath, but she would, however, jump in the shower. Barbara shared, “Zoey would groom her. She enjoyed it.” Puppet also did not care for going on car rides.
Barbara felt what Puppet valued the most in life was "cuddling every night when I got home.”
Puppet loved her treats, Barbara shared. “Every morning she would get temptation treats.”
Barbara shared that Puppet’s favorite object that she loved was “the cat bed I had. She and Zoey would lay in it together.”
Puppet, who was also lovingly referred to as "Puppers," loved Barbara; she was her favorite human on this earth. Puppet was such a big part of the family and was loved so very much, but the bond between Barbara and Puppet was the strongest. Sweet Puppet will be truly missed.
In addition to Barbara mourning the loss of Puppet, is her fur family, including her mom, Sweetness; her dad, Billie; and her niece, Zoey.
