Sasha Butter Scott of Greenfield, Indiana, the sweet girl of Amanda Bolling and Jesse Scott, crossed over the Rainbow Bridge on Sunday, May 18, 2025. Sasha was a beautiful Beagle-Terrier mix who, as a little pup, Amanda and Jesse rescued in February of 2014. She was one of many puppies living in a house with dirty, unsanitary conditions. Amanda picked up one of the puppies. She glanced down and saw little Sasha among all of the other puppies. She knew that this was the little girl who was coming home with them. Amanda relayed that on the way home the entire car was filled with a horrible odor. The neglect was evident due to the smell coming from Sasha, a result of the lack of care she received. After settling in, Sasha fit in as a wonderful member of the family. Amanda described Sasha’s personality as “very regal, very independent; when you had her attention, you felt like the luckiest person. She was so sweet with her love whistles when you squeezed her up.” Sasha enjoyed rolling in the mud, taking long walks with her family, and snacking on jerky treats. Amanda shared what she felt Sasha valued most in life was “lazy days chilling with her family.” Sasha brought so much joy and happiness to her family; she will be forever missed and never forgotten.
In addition to Amanda and Jesse, Sasha will be sadly missed by her human siblings, Elaine, John and Jaymes. Also mourning her loss are her fur roommates, Eloise and Bella.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Always & Furever In Our Hearts Pet Cremation in association with Liming Family Funeral Home, located in Shirley, Indiana. We are honored to serve the family of Sasha Butter Scott.
