Sassy Spencer Obituary

Sassy Spencer, the beautiful old gray girl of Deb Spencer of Wilkinson, Indiana, unexpectedly passed over the Rainbow Bridge on Sunday, September 1, 2024, following an accident. Sassy was approximately ten years old and was Deb’s little sidekick. She was like most girls; she had a difficult time making up her mind. She didn’t know if she wanted to be an inside cat or an outside cat, so she was a little bit of both. Sassy was a chatty-loving girl who kept Deb company. She was right by Deb’s side during the coronavirus pandemic. Deb jokingly said, Sassy also got me through one relationship and two breakups. Sassy followed Deb everywhere. Every time Deb would walk down her driveway to take out the garbage, Sassy would walk right beside her to guard her on her trip. One day one of Deb’s dogs got out and escaped the yard. Sassy was right there to help look for the dog. Whenever Deb hopped in the car, Sassy was riding "shotgun,” but sometimes she would climb up to the dash to get a better view of the world. Sassy is going to be sadly missed around the Spencer home. In addition to Deb, Sassy will be mourned by her furry family, Cooper, Louis, Lord Grey, Little One, and Lil Baby. Arrangements have been entrusted to Always & Furever in Our Hearts Pet Cremation in association with Liming Family Funeral Home, located in Shirley, Indiana. We are honored to serve the family of Sassy Spencer.
