Sidney “Roo” Raney of Wilkinson, Indiana, beloved Beagle of Ryleigh Raney, crossed over the Rainbow Bridge on Wednesday, January 10, 2024. He was a 13 year old sweet soul, approximately “74” in human years. Sidney “Roo” provided joy, unconditional love, and loyalty. He loved having his ears rubbed but didn’t like getting mushy kisses. Sidney “Roo” was described by his family as a goofy boy. He earned the nickname “Roo” because when he was baying and bellowing he sounded like he was saying “Rooooo!”. He would get the zoomies, happily running all around. Sidney “Roo” didn’t care much for being taken for a walk, he was however happy to walk on his own with his nose to the ground when tracking some mysterious animal.
Sweet Sidney “Roo” will be sadly missed but will forever remain in the hearts of his family and all who knew him. In addition to Ryleigh, those left to mourn the loss of Sidney “Roo” are his human family, Starla and Eric and fur brother, Chico and fur sister, Nova.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Always & Furever In Our Hearts Pet Cremation in association with Liming Family Funeral Home located in Shirley, Indiana. We are honored to serve the family of Sidney Roo Raney.
