Tiger Farley, the 18-year-old poodle of Sylvia Kincaid and Rob Farley, of New Castle, Indiana, passed over the Rainbow Bridge on Thursday, December 18, 2025.
Tiger was a Christmas gift given to Rob’s father, John, in 2007. After John passed away, Tiger joined Sylvia and Rob in 2015.
After Tiger came home to live with Sylvia and Rob Farley. He settled right in. Sylvia shared, “Tiger loved going for rides in our Tahoe. Sometimes, he would climb into my lap and put his paws on the steering wheel. One day, we got pulled over by a very amused New Castle cop who informed us Tiger was too young to drive.”
Tiger was very close to Sylvia; he loved her so much. According to Sylvia, “He became attached to me during Covid. Lots of walks around the neighborhood. He was my thrift shopping buddy, riding around in the shopping cart. He loved going to breakfast. Moons Over My Hammy at Denny’s was a favorite of his. He was known for his vast wardrobe! I joked with people that he had a better wardrobe than I did.
Wherever we went, he made people smile. He didn't have a mean bone in his tiny body.” Sylvia shared his antics on Facebook. According to Sylvia, “He was popular on Facebook. He even had his own hashtag. #tigerthedawg
Tiger, whom Rob and Sylvia often referred to as “Mr. T” and “Punkie Pie,” was quite the character, was loved immensely, and will always remain in their hearts.
