Toad Eppard, the beautiful F1 Royal Mini English Cream Golden Doodle boy of Stevye Eppard of Elwood, Indiana, unexpectedly passed over the Rainbow Bridge on Thursday, May 22, 2025. Toad was adopted from Royal Minidoodles of Sheridan and was born Sunday, March 3, 2025. Stevye was so excited to bring this sweet little baby boy home to join the family. Stevye described Toad as “spunky.” What she loved most about Toad was his loving, funky personality.” Unlike most pups, Toad was very stylish, and one of his favorite activities was bath time. He loved being groomed and getting all dolled up. Toad enjoyed playing with all of his stuffed toys. One of Toad’s favorite things to do was to go on car rides with Stevye. Wherever she would go, he would go as long as she was by his side. Toad would get especially excited when he knew his favorite treat of Pup Cups from 7 Brew would be part of the trip. Stevye shared that her favorite memory of Toad was the day she adopted him and brought him home for the first time to become a part of the family. Stevye felt what Toad valued most in his life was her, the person he loved the most in his life and who loved him the most in return. Toad developed a special bond with Stevye. He was Stevye's shadow. When Stevye was purchasing her new car, Toad slept on the sales desk as she was getting all of her paperwork signed and in order. Toad, who went by the nicknames of “Big Head, Noggin, Toady Boy, and Snow Cone,” was sadly only here for a very brief time, but this little guy left such a big impression on everyone’s heart he came across.
Although his time with Toad was limited, his sweet memory will last forever.
In addition to Stevye mourning the loss of Toad are Nathaniel Bartlett, Cayla Craw, Connie Deason, and Royal Minidoodles of Sheridan, Indiana.
