Vesta O (Helderbrand) Ellison

Vesta O. Ellison passed away January 1, 2014 after a short illness. She was born on March 13, 1922 to John and Bessie Helderbrand in Carter County, Kentucky. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Versie of 61 years.  She was also preceded in death by 2 sons, Paul and Wayne; 4 sisters and 7 brothers. She is survived by daughter, Kathy (Jim) Tallent; son, Rick Ellison; sister, Bethel Loftis, and brother, Alan Helderbrand , 11 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, 4 great great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 10am-2pm on Saturday, January 11, 2014 with the funeral to follow at the Liming Family Funeral Home located at 306 Main Street in Shirley Indiana with Pastor Brent Weaver officiating. Burial to follow at the Green Hills Memory Gardens in New Castle, Indiana.   In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations made to Riley Children's Foundation, St. Jude Research Hospital or the Salvation Army.
