Viola Lenora Westrich, age 91, passed away peacefully on Friday March 20th at Harbor Manor Nursing Home in Noblesville, Indiana and is now home with her Lord and savior. Viola was born on July 15th, 1928 in Franklin County, Indiana, the daughter of Bernard and Elizabeth Batta. She was the eighth child of twelve and she has two surviving siblings: Annabelle (Dennis) Suttmiller and Ben (Rita) Batta. Viola graduated from St. Paul school in New Alsace, Indiana in 1940. Viola was a housekeeper and a nanny in Cincinnati, Ohio. She met and married the love of her life Charles Westrich Sr., they were married on May 5th, 1951. They had nine children. Viola enjoyed dancing and writing letters. She had a strong faith and a love of family and will be truly missed by those who knew her. She is survived by her sons; Dennis (Linda) Westrich of Shirley Indiana, Gary (Linda) Westrich of Noblesville, Indiana and Edward (Nicole) Westrich of Australia and daughters; Carol (Bruce) Neiman of Sheridan Indiana, Arlene (Thomas) Trocke of Noblesville, Indiana, Ruby House of Danville, Kentucky and Linda (Charlie) Wilder of Anderson, Indiana. Viola is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. In addition to her siblings, she was preceded in death by her husband, parents, two sons; Charles Westrich Jr. and Thomas Westrich and one grandchild, Amanda Hall.
Graveside Service will be held Wednesday March 25th, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at Crownland Cemetery in Noblesville, Indiana with Father Thomas Metzger officiating.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the convenience of the family at a later date.
